Attire

Travel Attire:

Comfort is the key when traveling; casual, loose-fitting clothes are best, such as cotton slacks, khakis, casual skirts, jeans, shorts, T-shirts, polo shirts, sports shirts and casual dresses, along with comfortable footwear. Layered clothing allows you to adjust to a difference in temperature between your home and Florida.
Note: We suggest you pack your carry-on bag with a change of clothes for a 72-hour period in the unlikely event that your luggage is delayed.

Welcome Reception & Dinner – Seaside Soirée: Let’s have a Shell of a Time!

Attire: Sophisticated Coastal

Ladies: Embrace the Seaside Soirée spirit with elevated coastal chic. Think breezy elegance: flowy midi or maxi dresses in soft ocean hues: seafoam, sand, white coral, and light blue—paired with sophisticated wedges or block-heeled sandals suitable for artificial grass and outdoor pathways. Lightweight fabrics like linen, chiffon, and cotton will keep you comfortable in the seaside weather, while a light wrap or shawl is recommended for cooler temperatures as the sun sets and the ocean breeze picks up. We will be outdoors so consider having an option to secure hairstyles with pins or clips to stay polished in the wind.

Gentlemen: Channel refined coastal charm with smart, seaside-inspired ensembles. Lightweight linen or cotton trousers or chinos in shades of sand, stone, or navy pair well with button-down shirts or polos in crisp whites, soft blues, or subtle nautical stripes. A lightweight sport coat or unstructured blazer is an option for an elevated touch, and loafers or light sneakers are ideal for an outdoor setting. As the event will be held outdoors, we recommend layers to adjust to shifting temperatures and a gentle ocean breeze.

Awards Celebration – Tides of Distinction

Attire: Semi-Formal Evening Wear

Ladies: Step into Tides of Distinction in your elevated evening wear, inspired by a spectrum of sapphire tones and the elegance of the sea at dusk. Floor-length gowns or chic cocktail dresses in shades of sapphire, navy, midnight blue for darker hues are encouraged. Or appeal to the essence of the shimmer and sparkle of metallic accents in silver or platinum to echo the shimmer of light on water or gold for sand. Heels or dressy flats are appropriate for this indoor setting.

Gentlemen: You are encouraged to embrace the elevated evening attire with a sapphire-inspired palette or deep royal hues. While a tie is not required, you could opt for a suit in deep navy or any water inspired hue paired with a crisp dress shirt, for a classic, award-ready look. Consider incorporating shades of sapphire through your tie, bow tie, pocket square, or cufflinks to subtly echo the evening’s theme. Polished dress shoes in black or dark brown complete the ensemble. For an extra touch of distinction, a well-fitted blazer or three-piece suit adds depth and formality appropriate for an indoor awards dinner. Aim for a look that feels confident, cohesive, and refined, symbolizing how rising tides lifts all boats as we honor shared excellence and standout accomplishments.

Farewell Dinner Cruise – Serene Shoreline Scenes

Attire: Vintage Beach

Ladies: For our farewell yacht dinner cruise, ladies are invited to embrace hues with a vintage beach coastal aesthetic with soft, sun-washed hues. Think effortless elegance: flowy dresses, skirts, or tailored sets in seafoam, ivory, light tan, and driftwood tones. Lightweight fabrics such as linen, cotton, and soft crepe will keep you comfortable on the water, while a light wrap, cardigan, or cropped jacket is recommended for the cooler evening breeze on deck. For your safety, opt for refined flats suitable for yacht surfaces and narrow staircases.

Gentlemen: Channel a relaxed yet polished coastal style for the yacht farewell dinner. Choose lightweight chinos or dress trousers in light tan, stone, or soft khaki, paired with a button-down shirt or polo in seafoam, white, or other muted coastal tones. A casual sport coat or unstructured blazer in a light neutral is welcome for an elevated touch, and loafers or clean deck-style shoes are ideal for the yacht setting (closed-toe strongly preferred). As the evening air on the water can feel cooler, consider layering with a light sweater or jacket. The overall look should feel refined but easygoing as we close our time together along the New River.

Curated Experiences

CURATED ACTIVITIES: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29

Guests that selected a curated experience during registration will receive respective confirmations, however, please see below departure times for the curated activities. Please ensure you are in the lobby at least 10 minutes prior to departure times.

9:45 am            Kayaking at Birch State Park
10:45 am          New River Water Taxi History Tour & Explore Las Olas Blvd

For kayaking at Birch State Park, comfort, mobility, and safety are key. Guests are encouraged to wear:

Quick-Dry Clothing: Lightweight, moisture-wicking tops and shorts or leggings that dry quickly if splashed or wet (avoid heavy cotton, which stays damp and cold).

Secure, Water-Friendly Footwear: Closed-toe water shoes, sport sandals with straps, or old sneakers that can get wet. Avoid flip-flops or loose slip-ons that can easily come off.

Layers for Conditions: A light, quick-dry long-sleeve layer or rash guard is recommended for sun protection and cooler breezes. In cooler weather, consider a thin synthetic or fleece layer under a windbreaker or light waterproof shell.

Sun & Safety Essentials: A hat or cap that fits securely (consider one with a strap), polarized sunglasses with a retainer strap, and reef-safe sunscreen. If provided, life jackets/PFDs must be worn as directed.

Other Tips: Opt for clothing that allows full range of motion in your shoulders and hips, and avoid anything overly baggy or restrictive. Expect to get at least a little wet—dress for splashes and comfort rather than formality.

New River Water Taxi & Las Olas Exploration
Enjoy the sights in comfortable, casual attire that’s easy to move in and suited for warm weather and a light breeze on the water.

Ladies: Opt for relaxed, daytime pieces such as sundresses, skirts, or tailored shorts paired with a breezy blouse or knit top. Lightweight fabrics such as cotton, linen, or rayon are ideal for staying cool. Flat sandals or comfortable walking shoes are recommended, as you will be getting on and off the water taxi and strolling along Las Olas. Consider a sunhat, sunglasses, and a light layer (like a cardigan or wrap) in case of indoor A/C or a cooler breeze on the water.

Gentlemen: Choose smart casual looks such as chino shorts or lightweight trousers paired with a polo or short-sleeve button-down shirt. Breathable fabrics like cotton and linen work best for warm temperatures. Comfortable closed-toe shoes or sturdy sandals are recommended for boarding the water taxi and walking the area. Sunglasses and a light layer, such as a casual sweater or unlined sport shirt, are suggested for the occasional breeze or cooler indoor stops.
